Dotterel wins 'Sensors and Payload' category at AirAwards
Dotterel takes the win in the 'Sensors and Payload' category! Dotterel is the global leader in drone acoustics, and has created the world’s first two-way communication payload for drones.
Aerial Audio is comprised of a unique, highly directional microphone array and processor for drones that can capture target audio in front of the drone, while rejecting drone propeller noise and other loud environmental noise.
The solution also comprises a speaker which allows an operator at a remote ground station to engage in real-time, two-way audio while the drone is in flight. This is enabling drones to evolve into communication tools, which will help save lives.
